Getting started

1. Please agree to

   • the house rules,
   • the general terms and conditions of the Makerspace,
   • the code of conduct and
   • the workshop rules

   on the Collective Incubator Cloud.

2. Please inform yourself about the Available Equipment we have and think about how you want to realize your project.

3. Here you can make an appointment with the Maker Space Team.

   (Please dont ring the bell at the Maker Space in hopes to get access if you dont have an appointment)

4. You will receive an appointment for

   • a general safety briefing in our workshop and
   • an appointment to discuss your project with the workshop team (May take place after the safety briefing)

5. After you have discussed your project with the workshop team, you will receive

   • further machine instructions if required (→ Level system) and
   • further dates on which you can implement your project

Level system

There is a level system in the workshop:

These tools can be used after the general safety briefing (e.g. screwdriver)

<aside> ⚠️ Level 1

These machines can be used after machine specific instructions (e.g. some 3D printers)

<aside> 🔒 Level 2

These machines may only be used after an extended training has been completed or you already have vocational experience (e.g. Welding)

<aside> ⛔ Level 3

These machines may only be used by workshop personnel and may not be used by the user under any circumstances (e.g. milling machines, Forklift)

Opening hours

Our workshop can currently only be used by appointment and only from Tuesday to Thursday from 9 am to 12 am and 1pm to 4 pm.
