Offers

The best way to stay informed about current events is through the AcHsO Distributor. Relevant information about events and developments is shared through this channel. Initiatives can also contact each other and highlight their events through this distributor. To be added to or removed from the mailing list, please contact [email protected].

Accreditation

Under certain conditions, student initiatives can be accredited by the RWTH Aachen. This gives them access to internal services that may also be available to your organization. This includes, for example, the possibility to occupy university premises, to use IT services and to access the RWTH's social media channels. You can advertise on the information screens in the cafeterias, submit applications to the student parliament, or take a leave of absence for your involvement.

The AStA provides a How-To Accreditation.

How do I set up an association?

To form an association, you need at least six other people who are committed to a non-profit purpose. You’ll recieve a written invitation to a foundation meeting. At this meeting, the proposed statutes will be adopted. With the members and confirmed statues of the association, you go to the notary and, for a standarized administrative fee, have everything else explained to you, as well as registering your association and entering it into the association's register.

Legal Support

The AStA cannot give legally binding advice on association matters, but can report on experiences and possibly similar events in other associations. In addition, the AStA has a general legal advice service that you are welcome to contact. The lawyers do not specialize in association law, but they may be able to give you an initial assessment.

Advertisement on Mensa Screens

If your initiative is accredited by the RWTH Aachen, an advertisement can run on the screens of the cafeteria for up to two weeks. The ad must have the pixel format 1920 x 1080, be a JPEG file, and no company logos may be visible. In times of high demand, there may not be room in the schedule for your ad.

Simply send the correctly formatted ad to [email protected] and mention the desired time period. The AStA will do its best to make it happen.

Lending

The AStA has a variety of materials available for the events of the initiatives. The How-To Lend Material outlines what is available and how to borrow it.

Public Relations Work

The AStA has compiled many tips and tricks for improving public relations in the How-To Public Relations.
